Define the AkzoNobel Interpon reference before requesting an alternative
Record the exact Interpon series, product code, current TDS, color card, coated panel and project specification. AkzoNobel's public portfolio spans different chemistries, industries and finishes, so a brand name alone is not a technical specification and there is no blanket equivalent.
Match the application and service environment
State the substrate, pretreatment, indoor or outdoor exposure, corrosion environment, temperature, chemical contact and expected service. The proposed resin family and coating system must fit those conditions; replacing a reference by color name alone can create an unsuitable result.
Control color, gloss and texture with a physical panel
